 Owner and Supervising Teacher Founder of center for education for children pre-school through pre-teen. Responsible for curriculum development, supervision of staff and students, instruction in all subject areas.

American Family Fitness Center - 1995-2003

Kidz Zone Manager Responsible for development and implementation of specialized activities and care of children ages birth through fourteen years. Emphasis placed on physical programs along with educational components.

Pine Forge Elementary School, Pennsylvania - 1986-1994

Principal/Head Teacher Responsible for instruction and supervision of all subjects in a multi-grade classroom. Develop curriculum for the school and serve on the curriculum development committee for nine other K-10 schools. Workshop Presenter for Multi-grade classroom instructional techniques, innovative teaching strategies for academically challenged students, and economic stability of the schools

Evansville-Vanderburg Schools, Indiana - 1985-1986

Kindergarten Teacher Supervisor of support personnel and responsible for supervision and instruction of 36 kindergarten students in an all-day program.

Peterson-Warren Academy, Michigan - 1981-1985

Head Teacher Responsibilities included supervision of students and teaching personnel in a multi-grade classroom school, coordination of assemblies and special events, and instruction of all academic subjects.

Benton Harbor Schools, Michigan - 1975-1980

Teacher Classroom supervision and instruction. Served on District Desegregation Compliance Committee. Served as Vice-Principal of an Individually Guided Education Multi-Grade Classroom School.

Project History and Other Interests

Performance Director -

Responsible for training participants in drama, music, interpretive sign language, drill and marching, stage presentation, and all other skills associated with live performance. Served Norfolk Virginia Mental Health Association, Pine Forge Academy (Pennsylvania), Pottstown ( Pennsylvania) Department of Parks and Recreation, Richmond (Virginia) Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Richmond Public Schools, Youth Service Corporation of Virginia Beach, and Petersburg Public Housing Authority.

Director of Summer Camps -

Responsible for curriculum and activities development and scheduling, hiring and training of camp staff. Coordination of services with outside vendors and agencies. Supervision of personnel and all camp activities as well as statistical reports, finances and payroll. These duties and others performed at Camp Daniel L. Davis in Pennsylvania, and Lake Region Conference Summer Camp Program.

Director of Outdoor School -

Responsible for curriculum, staff and student supervision. Supervised the operation of this specialized four-day education program for sixth graders in rustic natural settings.
